Scenic Benches at Sage Hill

Last year, over 1700 students made visits to Sage Hill for classes, activities, or just to relax in nature. For years there have been only three benches at Sage Hill and there is a need for more places to sit alone or in groups. Luckily, last year four old benches were donated to Sage Hill and, with the help of the Sage Hill restoration team, we applied for and were awarded a small grant from The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) to repair and repaint these benches.

The College Corps restoration team took on the challenge of rehabilitating these benches and recently finished painting the last one in February 2025. The work took several days of scraping and sanding off old paint.
