Alan Barreca, Stephanie Pincetl & Edith de Guzman on KCRW’s “To the Point:” Heat is the deadliest aspect of climate change

Heat is the deadliest aspect of climate change. It’s turning some underserved LA neighborhoods red hot.  “Heat is a silent and largely invisible killer. It is, in fact, actually the deadliest of all weather-related disasters combined,” says Edith de Guzman, co-founder of the LA Cooling Collaborative and Ph.D. candidate at UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.  Professors Alan Barreca and Stephanie Pincetl are also guests on the show.
