Gursel Aliyev is a post-doctoral fellow at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. He is interested in applying behavioral science insights to public policy problems like energy conservation, tax evasion, health care utilization, social protection and poverty. At the IoES, Dr. Aliyev is investigating how the engagement of teenagers as energy stewards can impact household energy conservation.
Gursel Aliyev received a PhD in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an MA in Economics from Northeastern University
