Dennis Lettenmaier is a Distinguished Professor of Geography at UCLA who studies hydrological modeling and prediction, hydrologic remote sensing, hydrology-climate interactions, and water management.
Earth and Space Science News reported that Lettenmaier received the 2018 Robert E. Horton Medal for “outstanding contributions to hydrology.”
