Pa-Shun is a PhD student at UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability whose research focuses on microbial ecology across tropical terrestrial and marine ecosystems. Her work examines how environmental change and human disturbance shape soil microbial communities, nutrient cycling, and biodiversity. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine and Environmental Science from Hampton University.
