Paul Von

Second Year MBA Student

UCLA Anderson School of Management

Prior to UCLA Anderson, Paul spent six years working in corporate banking, most recently within BNP Paribas’ High Technology coverage team as an Associate. In this role, he was responsible for publishing internal research on his portfolio of companies and achieving senior executive buy-in for client financings. Interested in making a social impact at work, Paul established a donation program at BNP benefitting the homeless population in San Francisco, ultimately contributing over 150 hygiene kits.

At Anderson, Paul is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Operations for the Asian Management Student Association, as well as an Anderson Career Teams Coach focused on technology marketing. In the past year, he participated in Net Impact’s Project ECHO MBA mentorship program, where his team pitched a minority-led music label start-up for underprivileged youth within the Los Angeles area.

This summer, Paul interned at VMware, a technology company that specializes in enterprise software, as a product marketer. In his spare time, Paul enjoys traveling internationally to discover new exotic cuisines, rooting for Liverpool FC in the English Premier League, and crafting pour-over coffee concoctions.
