La Kretz Center celebrates opening of new building at Field Station

Thanks to a significant grant from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and former Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, the UCLA La Kretz Field Station is proud to announce the opening of our newest addition to our Santa Monica Mountains campus. Our new 1400 square foot building provides dedicated research space with a self-contained necropsy facility for National Park Service wildlife research, field research equipment storage, and housing for long and short term research visitors.
