The team made substantial progress in helping the UCLA Water Task Force and UCLA Housing & Hospitality identify areas in which substantial water savings may be realized. The team conducted primary research in each of our two focus areas: campus plumbing fixture changeovers and residential landscaping changeovers. The results of our data and analyses are being used by the UCLA Water Task Force to help develop the UCLA Water Action Plan. They were also displayed at the City of Los Angeles’ Metropolitan Water District Spring Green Exposition.
