The Inclusive Sustainability Collective at CDLS was created by, and structured for, people with various backgrounds and identities to increase sustainability efforts at UCLA and the Los Angeles Community at large. The Inclusive Sustainability team has multiple projects in the works to address issues regarding water, energy, waste management, transportation, education, and more. One project that the Inclusive Sustainability team has been working on in particular is their workshop “Unheard Voices: Diversity and Inclusion in the Environmental Movement”, a workshop intended to cultivate awareness and form networks that will address issues related to equity, inclusion, and justice in our local environmental movement.
