Earth Focus Documentary Premiere: “Reimagining and Transforming the Los Angeles River”

Join us for the premiere of the new Earth Focus documentary on the Los Angeles River, airing on PBS SoCal.

The hour-long program is split into two parts: “Reimagining the Los Angeles River” at 7:00 PM and “Transforming the Los Angeles River” at 7:30 PM. Executive produced by Jon Christensen, Adjunct Assistant Professor at UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, the documentary explores the broader implications of the river’s future on the city’s landscape and identity.

This season of Earth Focus, produced by Ahra Films, will also feature episodes on our impact on the high desert, the relationship between ravens, desert tortoises and humans, and the future of the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant on Native American land. Don’t miss this insightful look at the L.A. River and its significance for our city’s future.
