Shannon Coyne

Second Year MBA Student

UCLA Anderson School of Management

Shannon started her career at Forrester Research, helping Fortune 500 companies to evaluate the best technology solution to meet their business needs by developing syndicated research reports and consulting deliverables. She also improved the company’s main product, the Forrester Wave, by designing and implementing a customized training program for the company’s employees to ensure research was conducted objectively and fairly across all participants.

Shannon also has experience with nonprofit and mission-driven organizations, having worked at UNESCO in the Republic of Korea, the Wellesley Centers for Women, and – immediately before Anderson – Harvard Business School. In her role at HBS, Shannon provided School leadership with the data insights necessary to back their decision-making, in topics ranging across the complete faculty career lifecycle, including faculty recruitment strategies, retention, research support, the tenure review process, and compensation and rewards decisions. She was also business lead in developing the new faculty information system, a resource of key strategic importance to the School.

This summer, Shannon joined Deloitte Consulting as a Summer Associate in the Human Capital practice. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, traveling, and watching eSports tournaments.
