Craig Stanford is Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California, where he directs the Jane Goodall Research Center. He is the author of 15 books and more than 120 scholarly publications on animal behavior, ecology and conservation, including field studies of the Asian forest tortoises Manouria emys and M. impressa.
