UCLA Anderson School of Management

Professionally, Denice Gonzalez-Kim served as a fundraising and development leader for School on Wheels, a nonprofit that works to enhance the K-12 educational opportunities for homeless children—children living in shelters, motels, downtown hotels, group foster homes, cars, or on the streets. She believes that education is an economic imperative for our society and a right of every child.

She has received numerous awards for her dedication to service in the fields of education, poverty alleviation, and diversity improvement. She has received two President’s Service Award Gold Medals from the White House (under the Obama administration). She was also recently featured in Poets & Quants as one of twelve students to watch in the Anderson class of 2019.

At Anderson, Denice is part of the impact investment team, where she sourced and pitched the first impact investment that Anderson will make since its inception. She is also an academic intern at TriLinc Global, a global impact investment firm based in California. This summer she worked in consulting on Mergers and Acquisitions at EY. Denice enjoys running and hiking with her husband and golfing with friends.
