Jason Williams is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF), a PhD candidate in chemistry at UCLA, and a Pat Tillman Scholar. He is the founder of Elements of Equity, a nonprofit advancing employment, education, and entrepreneurship for veterans and non-traditional students, and serves as Chief Science Officer of My Block Skin. Through the Consortium for Diverse Leadership in Science (CDLS) and programs like Vets in STEM, he builds durable pipelines that move those who have served into laboratories, advanced training, and ownership of the technologies they help create. His work insists that broader impact means implementation, not just awareness — opening real pathways for veterans to lead in science.
