Tallis Arnold

Sage Hill Restoration Team - College Corps Fellow

Tallis is a second-year undergraduate student studying History with a minor in Education. He has a passion for teaching, mentorship, and human-centered wellbeing and wants to become a high school history teacher in the future. Tallis loves spending time in nature: he frequently likes to backpack, run, surf, hike, and camp in his personal time. As a staff member of The UCLA Backpacking Club and an independently contracted tutor, he also stays busy during the academic school year. Volunteering at Sage Hill through the UCLA College Corps Fellowship program has allowed him to utilize his passion for the outdoors and education by directing ecological volunteer days and acquiring vital interpersonal skills while servicing one of the most picturesque and valued spaces at UCLA.
