Amber Lam is a third year undergraduate at UCLA studying Environmental Science with a minor in Environmental Engineering. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, she moved out to LA for college. Following graduation, she has plans to enter the corporate sustainability sector and eventually continue on to law school to pursue an Environmental Law degree. Within the Corporate Partners Program, Amber is studying the rationale behind companies intrinsically making trade-offs between certain environmental efforts within their sustainability subdivision in hopes of understanding the role that sustainability plays in particular types of companies. On campus, she has served as Tournament Director for two years (and counting) on the Bruin Club Tennis officer board and enjoys playing tennis to stay in shape. She regularly practices yoga at Wooden and likes to surf (or tries to) at new beaches along the coast. When not outdoors, she is a bit of a movie guru and loves to play board games. As her fellow officers on the Club Tennis board could vouch for, Amber is very much a people person and is not afraid to show it!
